UK Honeymoon Destination
September 24, 2012
United Kingdom as a honeymoon destination? Yes, it is an idyllic honeymoon destination for the romantic at heart. Imagine yourself Honeymooning in the land of King Arthur, Guinevere, Camelot and the Knights of the Round Table, Shakespeare, and Chaucer.
What could be more romantic than the breathtaking scenery, a cozy B & B, Inn, Hotel or Castle with luxurious English linen sheets, snuggling next to a warm fire and of course enjoying the wonderful cuisine. If you have not had the pleasure of staying at a B & B where the cotton sheets feel like silk, yet you do not feel like your going to slide out of bed and the sheets smells like fresh air, I cannot recommend it more highly. Really, its one of thos Ahhhh momments.
How about taking a drive in the country side in a classic car while visiting some of the worlds most beautiful castles, gardens, and historic sites. Maybe have a James Bond momment?
You might want to stay in one of the many Boutique B & B’s or Spas and take advantage of their facilities and epicurean delights. Even if you do not play golf, you will have to admit that some of the most beautiful landscape in the UK are found on the many golf courses in the area. The landscape is vast and abounds with romantic beaches, lakes, rivers, falls, and oceans where the water is so clear, beautiful, majestic and powerful. The sound of the ocean, rivers, falls and lakes have their own musical sounds of romance that you will have to experience when you visit.
The UK has always been a valuable outdoor and sports destination. Now however, because of the 2012 London Olympics the UK is now in the possition of adding even more outdoor sports destination and activity options. For example, new bicycle routes have been established that follow where the Olympians cycled for the Olympic Gold. For the outdoor and road clyclist enthusiast, requests for a road or Mountain cycles can be provided and rented, accommodations booked, route planning provided and luggage transfers.
In our last UK E-ZINE released September 23rd, 2012 issue we highlight horse back riding in London, the romantic city of Bath and a few festivals you might want to attend next year 2013. Perhaps give you some ideas? You can request it by sending me an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
